NetOne increases Prices of Social Media bundles

NetOne, Zimbabwe’s second-largest Mobile Network Operator and government-owned telecommunications company has increased prices for its social media bundles.

The development comes only two weeks after the same bundles’ prices were increased. Meanwhile, the biggest Mobile Network Operator, Econet Wireless also increased the prices of its data, social media and SMS bundles.

The changes are attributed to the current economic crisis characterised by a local currency that continues to lose value against the United States Dollar.

Below are NetOne’s latest prices:

WhatsApp bundles

  • Daily $1 = 15MB
  • Daily $3 = 45MB
  • Weekly $5 = 65MB
  • Weekly $10 = 150MB
  • Monthly $20 = 250MB
  • Monthly $50 = 1GB

Self-styled communications strategist William Gerald Mutumanje has apologized for joining the Lacoste faction and ditching the then G40 faction at the height of the battle to succeed late Zimbabwe’s strongman Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
