Another blow from ZESA: Sets limit for minimum purchase of electricity. National electricity utility ZESA has set a new limit of $20 as the minimum amount needed to purchase electricity tokens for domestic users.

In a statement, the country’s largest mobile money company EcoCash said,

This news will not be welcomed by many Zimbabweans who are currently struggling to make ends meet as some people had now resorted to buying rations whenever they could afford.
