Things going out of hand: New prices of basic commodities. Times are tough for the ordinary Zimbabweans, with a stagnant salary and ballooning prices, citizens are caught in between a rock and a hard place.

Things continue to skyrocket and with the way things are looking, Christmas is going to be a nightmare for many Zimbabweans. Here are some of the prices of basic commodities that mere citizens should just have easy access to but are finding it very difficult to have, due to the crazy and ridiculous prices they are now costing

Bread

A loaf of bread is now costing $15,75 cents rounding it off to the nearest it’s now costing $16,00 each.

Peanut Butter

A bottle of mere peanut butter is costing almost $30,00.

Geisha

A single tablet of bathing soap vying for $18,00. Surely our country is on a brink of a shutdown.

Meat

Talking about meat, it has turned out to be gold. Those who can afford to buy meat are being regarded as rich people, l mean with that price there you have to be rich to afford it really.

Tenda buses owner arrested. Prominent Mutare businessman, Ernest Mungwari, has been arrested by the police together with another businesswoman on allegations of obstructing cops and Zimra officials from confiscating goods that had been smuggled into the country.
