Harare and Bulawayo roads renamed

Harare and Bulawayo roads renamed. The Government has approved the renaming of some major roads in Harare and Bulawayo. The changes were announced during a post-cabinet briefing this afternoon and posted on Twitter. Below are the new road names.

  1. Enterprise now ED Mnangagwa Ave
  2. 6th Road in Bulawayo now ED Mnangagwa Ave
  3. Kirkman  now Solo Mujuru Drive
  4. Livingstone now OR Tambo Ave
  5. Charter now Fidel Castro Road
  6. Cameroon now Joseph Msika Road
  7. Selous now John Nkomo Road
  8. Fife Avenue now Leonid Brezhnev Avenue

Hospitals have also had their names changed. Harare Hospital has been renamed Sally Mugabe Hospital whilst Mutare Hospital will become Victoria Chitepo Hospital. Below is a Comprehensive List of the Proposed Changes.
