South Africans loot plasm TVs after a truck carrying them crashes – Video. Christmas came early this year for some criminally inclined South Africans after a truck transporting some plasma television sets was stuck on the road following an accident.
Following the accident, the criminally inclined part of South Africa’s population saw an opportunity too good to pass up and proceed to loot the television sets.
Some have highlighted the social inequality in South Africa as one of the major motivations for looting which seems prevalent in the country. Some parts of the population seem ready and eager to loot and steal if given the chance.
