Zim Al Jazeera journalist: I think I’m going to die young. A prominent reporter who is with Al Jazeera, Harugumi Rozabela Mutasa has posted a controversial post on Twitter in which she suggested that she thinks she was going to die young. She posted:

I think I am going to die young …. there I said it. Don’t be shocked when it happens. Don’t know why, just a feeling. It is not known why the Zimbabwe-born journo tweeted such a negative post but others have suggested that she was depressed.

On 15 October 2019, Mutasa announced on Twitter that she was leaving twitter due to cyberbullying on the platform. Whilst several studies have shown that usually, depressed people are likely to commit suicide, a number of Haru’s followers on Twitter urged her to seek professional help whilst urging Al Jazeera to assist her.
