Harare massage pool party flops: Ladies outnumber men. The much-hyped Harare Massage Night pool party’s first leg had a false start last night after a handful of men only turned up for the event. Dubbed Two day Pool Party, the event was advertised as running from Friday 6 December(last night) to 6am Sunday 8 December.
iHarare noticed posters of the sensational event that were going viral on social media and decided to get in touch for more information. The posters had pictures of semi-n#de ladies making out by the pool(see pictures below)When we received the invite posters at iHarare, initially we were very sceptical about the party and considered that it may be a sophisticated scam. iHarare called the number on the invites and we were told that tickets were actually selling like hotcakes. The lady at the other end of the line even offered to bring us advance tickets so that we could pay. They then outlined the programme to us as costing USD20 for an ordinary ticket, and USD100 for VVIP Status. The party is/was running under the theme “Hapana Munhu WeMunhu”. Loosely translated this meant that everyone at the party was fair game when it came to hooking up.
Those in the ordinary section would have to buy their own drinks and individually approach and negotiate for a massage session and ‘extras’ with the masseuses while those in the VVIP section were guaranteed perks such as threesomes(yes you read that right), lesbian shows and free massages and a free Braai but the situation on the ground was not as enticing as we later came to learn via our informers.
Knowing the rather strict and conservative laws of the country, iHarare was quite sceptical about whether law enforcement agents would allow such an event. However, upon arrival at the event, there were four uniformed Police Officers inside the premises maintaining order.
Right Before the Event…
Right before the event, Sweet Massage Parlour which by all intents and purposes is a significant stakeholder in the event, went live on their Facebook page hyping up the event by showing some of the-presumably the creme de la creme– of the girls departing for the venue in a big white Hammer Limousine. It was certainly a sight for the sore eyes of some visibly drooling men in Harare

December 6 2019, The First Leg of the Party
iHarare had strategically placed moles who constantly kept us updated on the ongoings. Our main ‘Julian Assange’ arrived at the venue, Sweet massage parlour situated at 37 Worpleston Way in GlenLorne, at 8pm to a ZESA blackout, apparently, the organisers had not taken into account the erraticness of the power supply in the country.
Really mind-boggling given how ‘reliable’ ZESA is on dishing power cuts.
The girls numbering about eighty(80), the majority of whom who had been shipped in from various parlours and stripper joins like Private Lounge and Hollies Night Club, were restless and milled around for an hour in the dark as the technical team fiddled with the fuel less generator.
When the generator finally kicked in, the mood was already sombre and there was a ruckus as the girls in the Povo section tussled it out with the girls in the VIP section for the attention of the few gentlemen who had turned up.
It is not clear why a lot of men who had subscribed to the event developed cold feet last minute but as the reality sank in for the revellers and the girls, the few men who had shown up started leaving and the girls retired to the rooms.
We will continue updating this article as things unfold but we are reliably informed that things are going to heat up today as a lot of men are expected to turn up for the afternoon pool party and Braai. We are also reliably informed that the Proprietor only identified as Mambo/Sweet Massage Parlour is planning to run these parties every other weekend of the festive season.
