New ZINARA licensing fees. The latest price increase caught many motorists unaware as the government did not give a grace period, instead opting to enforce the new tariffs with immediate effect.
Government has with immediate effect increased Vehicle Licence Fees, Owners of light motor vehicles will now be expected to fork out $200 up from $100, an increase of 100%. The price adjustment is the second this year after vehicle registration fees were raised from $20 in August.

Part II of the Third Schedule to the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Regulations, 1999, published in Statutory Instrument 427 of 1999, as amended by the Vehicle Registration and Licensing (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 (No. 19), published in Statutory Instrument 171 of 2019, is repealed and substituted by the following—

Man in trouble for cashing in on wife’s illicit affair with a neighbour. A Harare man who reportedly fleeced money from his wife’s lover after discovering the illicit affair is in the soup. According to reports reaching iHarare, Maxwell Mutandwa (35) was recently hauled to court facing charges of extortion after he allegedly fleeced his wife’s lover Wadzanai Manyika (43) who lived at the same house.
