Willard Katsande (born 15 January 1986 in Mutoko, Mashonaland East Province) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer, who currently plays as a midfielder for Premier Soccer League club Kaizer Chiefs and for the Zimbabwe national team.
Willard Katsande known for his no-nonsense approach in the heart of midfield has been an integral part of Kaizer Chiefs’ success in recent years. Amakhosi snatched the services of the midfielder from Ajax Cape Town with former assistant coach, Ace Khuse boasting, “there is something special there”.
He has been making waves in the Zimbabwean national team having helped The Warriors to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Known as a midfield work-horse, Willard Katsande began his career playing for local lower division clubs in Zimbabwe such as Frontier Steel (2002–2005), Feruka (2006–2007) and a popular giant-killing club from Mutare, called Highway (2007–2009) from where he was recruited to play for Gunners F.C. in Harare for the 2009–10 season.

Man in trouble for cashing in on wife’s illicit affair with a neighbour. A Harare man who reportedly fleeced money from his wife’s lover after discovering the illicit affair is in the soup. According to reports reaching iHarare, Maxwell Mutandwa (35) was recently hauled to court facing charges of extortion after he allegedly fleeced his wife’s lover Wadzanai Manyika (43) who lived at the same house.
