SA club part ways with Warriors midfielder

SA club part ways with Warriors midfielder. Absa Premiership outfit AmaZulu have parted ways with Zimbabwe international Ovidy Karuru. The Zimbabwean and Usuthu reached a mutual agreement for the termination of the former’s contract just a couple weeks before the January transfer window opens.

The 30-year-old made nine appearances in all competitions for the Durban outfit this season, but was unable to find the back of the net or grab and assist. Karuru joined AmaZulu as a free agent in 2017 after leaving Kaizer Chiefs and went to make a total of 56 appearances, scoring six goals and assisting a further six.
