Zimdancehall singer Jah Signal wins Zim-Durban Award. This comes after scooping another award in Australia recently. Award-winning Zimdancehall chanter Jah Signal won a Zim-Durban award on December 28.

For the Durban award, Jah Signal scooped the Best Event of the Year accolade ahead of raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda and Baba Harare among others. In an interview with H-Metro, Jah Signal manager, Hillary (Punchline) Mutake said they were not surprised since they always give their most energetic performances during shows.

“I’m not really surprised to be honest, because we work so hard day in day out. “We also have sleepless nights working hard, but we just thank God we are now being recognised internationally. “It means a lot,” said Punchline. He said they were heading to Bulawayo for a show then from there head to Victoria Falls.

“We do not rest but we thank God it’s all for the better that we are receiving blessings since we scooped another award in Australia lately, so this is another one in the shelf,” he added. The Swaah Family also revealed that they are planning celebrations for all the awards they are scooping.

“We are going to make arrangements for celebrations for all the titles we have been honoured with this year. “It has been a great year indeed and more fireworks are coming in 2020 starting from the crossover night we are going to explore in Kariba. “I wish you all a happy prosperous New Year and always remember to work hard,” he said.
