Acting President Chiwenga receiving Holy Communion at Roman Catholics Church. In a photograph that has since been making rounds on social media, the former army general is preparing to be given holy communion by the catholic priest.

Acting President Constantino Guvheya Chiwenga yesterday attended the ordination of deacons at the Roman Catholic in Harare where he received holy communion.

Speaking to journalists, the Acting President called on all Zimbabweans to unite in prayer for the country. He said that the nation should turn to the church for solutions to the social and economic problems currently bedevilling the country.

The acting Vice President who recently jetted back from China where he was had gone for a routine medical check-up is currently embroiled in a scandalous divorce with his estranged wife, Marry Mubaiwa Chiwenga.
