Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs Minister Mavhunga misses First lady’s visit. Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs minister Monica Mavhunga missed First lady Auxillia Mnangagwa’s visit in Rushinga yesterday due to sickness.
Highly placed sources told Bulawayo24 news that Mavhunga is unwell and Provincial Development Coordinator (PDC) Cosmas Chiringa read her welcoming remarks.
“Mavhunga is sick that is why you saw the PDC welcoming the first lady here in Rushinga,” said the source. In the speech, Mavhunga highlighted that the majority of people in the province are on the verge of starvation hence government must continue assisting the province with food aid.
Meanwhile, Mnangagwa was accompanied by Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Kazembe Kazembe who gave a vote of thanks and Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Jenfas Muswere who also spoke on the event after Post and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) donated 50 laptops to five schools in Rushinga.
