Bedroom Matters: Man draws boundary in bed to keep himself away from wife

Bedroom Matters: Man draws boundary in bed to keep himself away from wife. Thembekile Moyo accused her husband of denying her conjugal rights and for being emotionally and physically abusive. Moyo said her husband, Gwinyai Musesengwe, a nurse at United Bulawayo Hospitals, was not only denying her conjugal rights but was also chasing after other women in her presence.

A s.e.xually frustrated Bulawayo woman who has been allegedly starved for a long time had enough and decided to drag her hubby to court. She also accused him of creating a “boundary” on their bed so that she doesn’t feel his body in an intimate way.

Moyo was also seeking a protection order against her husband due to his abusive ways.  Said Moyo. “Gwinyai Musesengwe who is my husband and works at UBH as a nurse is physically, emotionally and verbally abusing me almost on a daily basis. He beats me up, he scolds me and shouts at me for no apparent reason.

“He also deprives me of my conjugal rights and he sets a boundary between us every day as we sleep. I am afraid that if he continues depriving me my conjugal rights it will push me to engage in extra-marital affairs, something which I believe is not good to do.

She also accused him of socially isolating her by denying her permission to talk to her friends. She claimed that he demanded for her to stay indoors and humiliates her in front of her siblings when they call.

Moyo claimed that her husband seemed to find pleasure in tormenting her and she said she was afraid he would end up murdering her with his physically abusive ways.

I am afraid that, if he continues, abusing me he will end up killing me. I have also suffered a heart attack as a result of his persistent abuse,” said Moyo. Musesengwe, pulled a no-show at court fearing the humiliation of a trial and the protection order was granted in favour of his wife.
