Media personality, Maps Maponyane has officially made his entry to the dirty thirties! In 16 March 1990, the Maponyane family was blessed with a sweet addition to the family. Little did they know that their bundle of joy would grow up to have such an influence and impact in the world, hence many regard him as a role model.
After having achieved so much in his lifetime, it’s hard to believe that the good homie is only thirty years old. In an interview with former television producer, Nicky Greenwall, Maps Maponyane shared how he had initially aimed at carving a career in football, until he took a liking and passion to the world of entertainment, especially modelling.
Over the years, the 30-year-old has cut his teeth in numerous Art avenues including, acting and television presenting. His first acting stint was on Mzansi Magic’s defunct drama series, Rockville. Which was probably enough to convince the producers of hit film, Tell Me Sweet Something to offer him a lead role alongside, his ex off screen girlfriend, Nomzamo Mbatha.
Fast forward to September 2019, Maps successfully dipped his fingers in the food and beverage industry by establishing his widely talked about eatery, Buns Out! Happy Birthday Masego!
