Dancer Mama Beans says lockdown has affected her negatively. The country entered a 21-day lockdown after the President announced it to prevent the spread of coronavirus, a pandemic which has affected everyone in the world. “I have been disturbed a lot because I was doing a song so now I can’t even go to the studio neither see my producer.

Songbird and dancer Tinashe “Mama Beans” Tsotsoma says the lockdown period has affected her music production. ” I was planning to release a song end of this month but due to this COVID 19 all my plans are shattered,” she said. Mama Beans also encouraged people to adhere to the President’s orders to stay at home and avoid unnecessary movements.

“I urge people to follow the orders from the President to stay at home and avoid unnecessary movements so that we do away with the spread of the virus. “If we follow instructions from the health experts we can win over this virus. “We have to maintain smartness, even the Bible itself says cleanliness is close to Godliness.

“We have to sanitise our hands, avoid hand-shakes and maintain social distances among other precaution measures we are being told.” She also told this publication that she is spending much of her time writing songs.

“Since we are not moving out I am spending my time writing songs and making sure my child is safe. “She is not even going out of the house, they say charity begins at home so that’s what I am trying to do.

“We are not even ready as the country to tackle the disease so the best is to prevent it. “Its not easy to stay indoors but for the good of others we should be considerate. “Some other people are just loitering and it defeats the purpose of the lock down.”
