The corruption case against former President Jacob Zuma has been postponed until 23 June. The postponement is due to the COVID-19 lockdown’s travel and court appearance restrictions.

Deputy Judge President Justice Madondo granted the matter to be postponed in absentia on May 6.

Zuma is accused of unlawfully accepting millions of rand from the controversial arms deal.

The former president withdrew his leave to appeal with the Constitutional Court.

Zuma says he wants to go to trial to prove his innocence.
