Zimbabwe denies rumours of deploying troops to Mozambique

Zimbabwe denies rumours of deploying troops to Mozambique. The permanent secretary in the Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Ministry Nick Mangwana has said the government has not deployed the army to Mozambique.

This comes after reports circulated on various social media sites that the government deployed troops to go fight insurgence in Mozambique. Writing on Twitter Mangwana said; Zimbabwe has not deployed the Zimbabwe Defence Forces(ZDF) in Mozambique.

Meanwhile, MDC Vice president Tendai Biti has said its unlawful, costly and foolish to deploy the army to Northern Mozambique.
