Jonathan Moyo endorses Jah Prayzah’s message to the govt as he joins the #FreeHopewell. The arrest of 31 July Demos planner Jacob Ngarivhume and journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has caused a major uproar in the country and many are not happy at all.
As we all know by now the journalist and the political activist were both arrested yesterday being accused of inciting violence. The two were arrested amid fears of an intensive mass demonstrations that are being orchestrated by Ngarivhume with Hopewell supporting the movement.
This move by the government has angered many civilians including some celebrities. Author, Film director and producer also scriptwriter Tsitsi Dangarembwa staged a solo demonstration for the journalist. Kikky Badass also spoke about it too so as ExQ and many politicians mainly of the opposition parties.
Even former leader of the South African main opposition party the DA Mr Mosimane Mmane also appealed to USA and UK for intervention as the government is breaking the law and abusing it. So to add to all these people voicing up on this issue, Jah Prayzah also put up a statement which was liked and endorsed by former cabinet minister Jonathan Moyo. Below is JP’s Tweet…
