Bulawayo councillor suspended for insulting Chamisa. Confirming Chigora’s suspension, MDC provincial spokesperson Swithern Chirowodza said: I can confirm that MDC Alliance Bulawayo East district has recommended that its current chairman, Chigora, be suspended from the position of district chairperson pending a disciplinary hearing.

In terms of the party’s rules and code of conduct, the finer details on the recommendation will be given in writing to the party’s Bulawayo provincial executive. When contacted for comment Chigora, however, pledged allegiance to Chamisa despite his alleged spear campaign. against him.
