Here is how police are being trained for the July 31st demos: Video. Remember police officers were called to a quick training as the State gears up to thwart the much-hyped July 31st demonstrations. In case you had forgotten read the news below…

This is contained in an internal memo sent to police stations. The Zimbabwe Republic Police special training phase 2 stopped in March due to COVID-19 is hurriedly resumed next week.

The internal memo read, “Reference is made to my radio CM 10/20 dated 25/03/20 which suspended special training at Shamva Battle Camp due to COVID 19 pandemic. Stop addressees are being advised that the special training will be resumed on 17/07/20 at Shamva Camp Stop.

The listed members are to report at Support Unit Puc on Thursday CMM 16 July 2020 at 1200 hours for logistical arrangements stop.” The special training will be done in Shamva battle camp stop.
