Trending Masvingo girls granted bail

Two Masvingo girls Nyasha and Flora who have been trending on social media after a video of them eating one another’s private parts have been granted ZWL$100 000 bail each by Masvingo Magistrate Elizabeth Hanzie.

The duo is set to be back in court on December 18, 2023. They are charged with violating the Censorship and Entertainment Control Act (Prohibition of importation, production, and dissemination of undesirable publications, pictures, statues, and records).

Many have questioned their guilt but the law clearly states that the distribution of such content is not allowed and can result in jail time.

The two ladies have been bragging about this video and even went further to hold a live video celebrating their achievement online which led to their arrest.

In other news – Kombi driver wanted for hit and run accident

Police in Harare have launched a manhunt for a kombi driver who allegedly hit a man in the city centre and took him to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where he died upon admission but failed to report the accident on Wednesday.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said they were looking for the suspect who was driving a Toyota Hiace, registration number AGB 0306. Read More
