Man Suicide

Drama as man climbs billboard and threatens to jump unless his in-laws return his wife and children: Pic. So there was drama yesterday after a man threatened to jump from a billboard after his in-laws had taken his family. People were treated to a free African Movies scene as things escalated.

We all know things are currently difficult for everyone especially in Zimbabwe because of this COVID-19 lockdown which has seen many people fail to survive due to the ban of day to day runnings. In zimbabwe, 90% of the active stage are informal traders and those are the ones hit worst by this lockdown, so people must understand that it is hard to survive at the moment.

Yes, in-laws may want money for lobola but in times like this people should just show remorse and understand that its not someone’s fault if they can’t pay lobola at the moment. It’s so bad when in-laws reach a point where they will take away a man’s family just because he hasn’t paid lobola.

This happened and it broke the man’s heart that he decided to go to this extreme of trying to jump from a billboard just to have his family brought back to him. Please, parents, let show some humanity in us and not destroy marriages.
