Airlink reconnects Zim, SA route. This follows the lifting of travel restrictions that curtailed travel between the neighbouring countries while they both worked to successfully contain the spread of the Coronavirus. Airlink, the privately-owned regional airline, will reconnect Zimbabwe and South Africa when it resumes scheduled passenger services from 05 October.

“Airlink is looking forward to re-establishing the vital connections that sustain the all-important trade, business, tourism and family ties across the Limpopo River,” said Airlink CEO, Rodger Foster.

Our daily south-bound lunchtime departure from Harare and mid-morning departure returning from Johannesburg provides travellers with seamless connectivity with Airlink’s new direct flights linking Johannesburg with Cape Town and with Durban. Connections are also available to Airlink’s other South African destinations, such as Port Elizabeth, East London, Bloemfontein and others.

Over the coming few weeks, Airlink will rebuild its network with the resumption of services to additional destinations throughout the SADC region, all reachable with Airlink connections via its hub at Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport.
