Bulawayo City Council mourns rapper Cal_Vin. The statement by BCC reads in part: The City joins the Nhliziyo family, Bulawayo and the nation at large in mourning and celebrating the life of the talented and illustrious son of the City of Kings.
Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has joined friends and family members mourning the tragic death of Cal_Vin, New Zimbabwe reports. This was revealed in a statement that was released by Bulawayo Mayor Councilor Solomon Mguni who sent condolences to the Nhliziyo family.
The untimely passing of Cal_Vin has robbed Bulawayo and the world of a promising musician and artiste who embodied the role of Bulawayo as a cultural hub.
We are sad to lose a selfless member of the community who strives despite numerous challenges to share his outstanding talent and nurture upcoming musicians.
Our greatest sympathy goes to the Nhliziyo family. The City’s creative arts sector is poor without him. May his soul rest in peace,
Cal Vin died yesterday morning after a hit and run driver driving a White Mazda Familia car ran over him a few meters away from his home in Luveve. South African rapper Cassper Nyovest also mourned The Luveve Boy as he was referred to by his fans.
