Tatenda Mkuruva

Tatenda Mkuruva the best keeper. The Michigan goalkeeper said: “I’m happy to be voted in the all-tournament team, it feels good to be rewarded and it shows that I have been working hard. “I want to give credit to my teammates and coaching stuff for helping me to achieve such an award, and it’s such an honor,” he said.

Tatenda Mkuruva says he is humbled to be voted as the best keeper in the NISA Championship tournament.  The United States-based star was also nominated for two best saves last month and voting is still in progress. “I want to thank God for such opportunities and hopefully I will win it again.

What l know is that I did my work, I can’t say that I will be one since I am not the one who is going to vote,” he said. He added: “I am happy that l am excelling in my career. I just want to thank all those who have been voting for me.

“Because it shows that they have been recognizing what I have been doing for the team and the effort l have been putting,” he said. “We promise to do all we can to make sure that I raise the Zimbabwean flag high,” he said.
