Bushiri’s Co-accused found with cellphones in jail. Willah Mudolo is also said to have tried to flee to Dubai from the OR Tambo International Airport on the 21st of September, 13th of October and 16th of October. It is believed he was stopped as police systems alerted the authorities via SMS.

In his jail cell, Bushiri’s multi-millionaire co-accused, Willah Mudolo, was found with three cell phones. Prison officials at Kgosi Mampuru Prison found plans to bribe court officials on one of the mobile phones.

Mudolo lied that he was legally married to Zethu Mudolo in the UK when there was no documentary evidence of the marriage. Zambian, Mudolo has no legal status in South Africa and is in the country illegally.

Mudolo uses two passports, one which shows he was born in 1978 and another that shows he was born in 1980.

Mudolo is offering his R23 Million Sandhurst Mansion as security if he is granted bail. The state opposes bail citing his past attempts to escape, that he has access to a lot of cash and that Bushiri fled even though he had the same bail conditions.
