Ruvheneko’s National fabric looks better than Mai Mnangagwa’s: Pics

Ruvheneko and Chief Koti

Ruvheneko’s National fabric looks better than Mai Mnangagwa’s: Pics. The national dress was launched by President Emmerson Mnangagwa where models showcased the national cloth which has a Zimbabwe bird and national flag colours on it. Political analyst Gladys Hlatshwayo described the event as extravagant and lack of priories by government.

The national dress, which was launched in Harare on Saturday has been described as a mockery and a blatant display of misplaced priorities in a country where over eight million people are food insecure.

Twimbos have reacted to the national dress which was launched by the First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa today under them My Zimbabwe, My Identity, My Pride. The event according to Harare Times was said to be a step towards the immortalization of Africa according to President Mnangagwa.

However, when the material or fabric is sawn by proper people who have a taste for fashion it can actually look nice. Here we have the pictures of Ruvheneko and Star FM’s Chief Koti rocking the same National Fabric see how they looked

Zimbabwe’s NATIONAL FABRIC 🇿🇼 Sadly, Zimbabwe does not have a distinct National Dress that can be identified, let alone worn in today’s modern society. 🇿🇼 For years we’ve attended events in Zambian, Nigerian and Ghanaian fabric, where the dress code is “Africa Attire” or “Traditional.” Kuita here ikoko? After a Nationwide process led by the Patron, the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, we now we have our own fabric. 🇿🇼

Chief Koti Ruvheneko

@goddessbyfatima made this for me as I co-hosted the official Launch this weekend, with @chiefkoti a chief in media, communications, PR, Tourism but above all, a notable Venda man. 🇿🇼 This is not the only colour available and my dress is not the National Dress😂There are many fabric options in different colours and styles for one to make with whatever they like. Swipe across to see the variety! What do you think? Would you wear this fabric and above all, would you wear it with pride? 🇿🇼 #NationalFabric #Zimbabwe #ZimBho
