Job Sikhala arrested for the baby killed by police story. The story of a police officer who was alleged to have killed a baby with a baton stick has gotten a lot of people in trouble as earlier ZiMetro News reported that Veteran Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono was picked up by the Police.

ZiMetro has also learned that according to Job Wiwa Sikhala, an outspoken politician and the current Vice Chairman of the Movement for Democratic Change Alliance, he is being hunted by the police for the same story.

In a statement posted by Sikhala on Twitter:

“Alert Zimbabwe: I have received information that the Mnangagwa regime wants to arrest me today for the offence which I don’t know. They are alleging that I undermined the authority of the police by tweeting about the kid allegedly assaulted by them. I have alerted everyone.”

Sikhala went on to say that Zimbabwe Police wants to expose him to the deadly Covid-19 once they arrest him.

“I am gathering that after my arrest they want to expose me to Covid 19. If anything happens to me let it be known to Zimbabweans that I am Covid free as I speak. A few days ago, I was warned about the plot by the regime & they really wanted to arrest me for no apparent reason. Oppression”.
