Zim records 24 more COVID-19 deaths

Zim records 24 more COVID-19 deaths. A total of 4 936 PCR tests were conducted. New recoveries were 143. The national recovery rate stands at 58,6 percent and active cases went up to 8 388.

The country recorded 978 new Covid-19 positive cases and 24 deaths in the last 24 hours. All 978 cases are local, with 559 cases from Harare alone.

“As of 10 January 2021, Zimbabweans have recorded 21 477 confirmed cases, including 12 582 recoveries and 507 deaths,” reads statistics from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
