Storm blows the roof off and uproots trees at Mberengwa school. It is reported that the storms affected the block which was being used by ECD 1 learners and also blew the CIDA roof.
Vumukwana Primary School in Mberengwa North Constituency suffered a devastating loss after Monday rainy storms blew off the roof of some of its classrooms. One official at the school said:

A number of schools and households have been affected by storms and heavy rains since the start of the current rainy season. The government through the Civil Protection Unit CPU mobilised funds to assist those who would have been affected by disasters.
