2 arrested over murder of 23-year-old man

2 arrested over murder of a 23-year-old man. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old Chinhoyi man who died after being assaulted by four men around 3 AM on Tuesday.

The deceased who reportedly died some three hours after the assault was discovered lying in an unoccupied incomplete house away from the scene of the assault.

He died around 6 AM. Informants told police that they had witnessed four men assaulting the murder victim in the early hours of the day.

Two suspects, aged 27 and 28 have been arrested in connection with the murder, while two others are still on the run.

Police spokesperson for Mashonaland West Inspector Margaret Chitove confirmed the incident and urged the public to solve issues amicably if they are aggrieved.
