Kriste Mambo High School staff member shot by armed robbers. However, the stolen car was later recovered in Nyazura. In a press statement that was released by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) on Twitter, the law enforcement agency is appealing for information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects.

A Kriste Mambo High School staff member was seriously injured after he was shot in the chest by armed robbers who pounced on the institution last Saturday. Eleven suspects who were armed with four unidentified firearms managed to get away with US$5134, ZWL$ 14 350 and a Toyota Hilux twin cab vehicle.

Below is the full statement from the police. Police in Rusape are investigating a robbery case which occurred on 07/11/21 at Kriste Mambo High School. Eleven suspects armed with four unidentified firearms, pounced on the school and stole US$5134, ZWL$ 14 350 and a Toyota Hilux twin cab vehicle.

One member of the school staff was seriously injured after being shot on the chest. The stolen motor vehicle was recovered at Bridge store, Nyazura on 08/11/21 parked on the side of the road.
