Popular Zimdancehall producer Cymplex focuses on upcoming artists. The riddim, which only caters for Norton chanters, has been named Norton Next Generation Riddim. Cymplex Music Studio is currently working on a new Zim dancehall riddim set to feature an array of Norton’s upcoming artistes.
In an interview with H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle, Cymplex Music Studio manager Simbarashe Moyo, has expressed how much they wanted to help artistes archive their goals. “I have embarked on a programme to help upcoming artistes as much as I can.
“There is a lot of untapped potential out there and I feel like it’s out duty to give them a hand. “At the moment, I’m working with new voices from Norton and Domboramwari High School,” he said.
Asked how many artistes featured the riddim, Simbarashe said: “It features 13 new artistes like Brooklyn, Nella, Maxinator, Syrup Dem, Volga and many others.
“The sound track is accompanied by a video medley shot by Krispi visuals.” Cymplex Music studio is yet to tour around Zimbabwe helping young upcoming artist to be noticed.
“We are not ending there, we still scouting talents and giving them much exposure. “The process might take long because we are working with limited revenue but we slowly getting there,” Simbarashe added.
