Oskido predicted that the late Patrick Shai was depressed and going through a tough time before he ultimately committed suicide on Saturday morning.
The former Generations actor Patrick Shai was found dead allegedly hanging in the garage at his house in Soweto, news that shocked South Africa. At the time of his untimely death, Patrick Shai was playing the role of Phasha on Mzansi Magic telenovela The River. Spouse Mmasechaba Shai and two children and 2 grandchildren survive him.
Patrick Shai’s death caught Mzansi by surprise, who challenged rapper Cassper Nyovest to a boxing match a few days before.
Ranting on social media, Shai released a video hurling insults at Cassper, using foul language to throw shade at the rapper and his family. While filming a video that shook the Mzansi entertainment industry, Patrick Shai revealed that he wanted to face the heavily built Cassper Nyovest in a boxing ring before dying.
Music producer Oskido warned Patrick Shai during the Cassper Nyovest challenge; he urged the legendary actor to let things go and take control of his life.
“Someone did you wrong? Learn to let it go. The truth is they will ruin more of your life if you allow them to invade your mind like a virus. This will, in turn, affect the quality of your life. The best thing to do is to move on. Show that you’re strong enough to take control”. – Oskido.
