Killer T’s new album is under fire after allegations suggest that the award-winning Zimdancehall musician stole another musicians songs.
The Ndamuda hitmaker who recently released his new album Tiri VeMuma Streets is being accused of being a copycat by fellow Zimdancehall musician Platinum Prince.
Platinum Prince took to his Facebook Page on Saturday and publicly accused Killer T of plagiarising Qounfuzed’s songs on his new album. Platinum Prince mentioned that although he would typically be upset about an artist of Killer T’s calibre imitating another artist’s work, he sees this as a clear confirmation that Qounfuzed is currently the top Zimdancehall artist in the country.
According to Platinum Prince, Killer T was inspired by Qounfuzed’s Dzihwa on the song Havandide and Kamunamato Kekubhawa on the song Tinonamata. Ndururani, as Platinum Prince is affectionately known by his legion of fans, even provided video evidence to back his claim against Killer T.
He added that Killer T should have given Qounfuzed writing credits on his new album.
“I think it’s safe to say Qounfuzed ari kupisa and has become a force to reckon in this industry because ukaona wasvika level rekuti someone as big as Killer t now feels inspired to the extent yekuba maideas emasongs ako then zvaendwa…its clear that he has become the people’s favourite though the system still tries to discredit him but mastreets haanyepe.Most songs in Killer t’s album are just copied from other songs Which is okay but maybe its good kupawo credit kune varidzi vesong because panenge pashandwa for someone to come up with such,Like that Sawale song and the other songs a Qounfuzed…uchatonzwa vamwe vachiti zvakasiyana ipapa 🤣🤣🤣

At the time of publishing neither Killer T nor Qounfuzed had addressed the issue.
