Jah Prayzah appreciates Mabrijo

Musicain Jah Prayzah has praised Comedienne Mabrijo for her comment on the drive with DJ Ollah that took place a few months ago. In the interview, she mentioned the word Walletically and this name has been featured in the album.

Jah Prayzah whose unique sound and style have gained him a huge following both locally and internationally commented on social media to acknowledge her.

On May 12th, 2023, he released his latest album titled “Chiremerera” at a colorful event held in Harare, Zimbabwe. The album features several hit songs such as “Sarungano” which features Feli Nandi, “Wanga Wakarara,” “Hurungudo,” and the title track “Chiremerera.”

Jah Prayzah has been in the music industry for over a decade and has released several albums that have won him numerous awards both in Zimbabwe and beyond. His music is a blend of traditional Zimbabwean rhythms and contemporary African beats, creating a unique sound that is instantly recognizable.

“Chiremerera,” which means “dignity” in Shona, is Jah Prayzah’s art of speaking to many of Zimbabwean nationals in diverse situations.

Ezekiel Guti, the founder of the Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (Zaoga) church, turned 100 years old on May 14, 2023. He celebrated his birthday in style, with thousands of congregants gathered at the church’s headquarters in Harare to mark the occasion.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa and leaders of other Christian denominations were also in attendance to celebrate Guti’s birthday. Mnangagwa praised Guti for being one of the country’s most celebrated pioneers of indigenous Pentecostal evangelism. He also said that Guti had played a significant role in nation-building and had earned the highest honor that Zimbabwe can bestow on its citizens, the Order of the Star of Zimbabwe Gold. Learn More
