South African actor Clement Maosa who plays the character of Kwaito Seakamela-Maputla on Skeem Saam took to Twitter on Thursday, 13 July to defend actor Hungani Ndlovu’s character, Tbose Maputla, who debuted in the soapie on Monday, 3 July episode.
The talented actor Clement Maosa revealed that the new Tbose Maputla has every right to change because he lived overseas for long.
“Mara you can’t live abroad for so long and not change,” tweeted Maosa. This is after his character on the soapie revealed that he’s battling to understand the latest Tbose Maputla.
Maosa is the second actor from the SABC1 soapie to support and defend Ndlovu’s character after Cornet Mamabolo, who played the first Thabo Maputla for over ten seasons.
A local publication previously reported that the former Scandal! actor Hungani Ndlovu thanked Mamabolo for his support and said: “It’s the only way, my brother. The playing has begun! I won’t take anything to heart, not today, not tomorrow. You know, we’ve been doing this for decades. I appreciate you, king.”
