Usher proves to be a huge fan of Amapiano as he claims that the music genre aids his creativity.
The American star has dropped hit songs like, Confessions, Burn, Yeah! My Boo, Love in this Club and many others. During a recent interview, the singer spoke about how Amapiano shaped his creativity.
“…Coming to our original home, the Motherland. And all of those things started to sneak their way into my music. Whether it was the algorithms of the songs or the rhythm and beat of what was going on with Amapiano and Afro beats. All of those things began to instigate my creativity,” he said.
However, South Africans who viewed the interview were more interested in the Yano songs that aided him. Usher was also applauded for pronouncing the SA genre correctly.
