At around 5 am this morning. A commuter omnibus from Chiredzi destined to Beitbridge – Musinna with cross borders passengers was involved in a head-on accident at the 180km peg with a long haulage truck. It was a head-on accident.
Six passengers were dead at the scene. Whilst four were seriously injured and taken to the nearest clinic and district hospital in the district. It was a Nissan Caravan. The driver who was a male was dead at the scene. Five female passengers were dead on the scene.
