Bulawayo on Tuesday at around 3.30 pm experienced a brief thunderstorm that had high winds and rains. The storm caught many unaware and damaged a street light in the city center.
The driving rain lasted less than 10 minutes but left many, who could not find shelter quickly enough, soaked.
The Meteorological Services Department of Zimbabwe had warned of thunderstorms countrywide.
