Dr Malinga shares good news

Dr Malinga is excited to have been honoured. He was honoured during the Tshwane All Benefit
Concert, which they later renamed Tshwane All White Dr Malinga Benefit Concert. The concert was held at Mzansi Resort, formerly known as Morula Sun in Mabopane, Tshwane, on Saturday, 16 December.

Dr Malinga, whose real name is Goodwill Malinga, said he’ll continue doing the good work, blessing and
entertaining people with music. He said he has been in the music industry for more  than 10 years. It’s an honour to be pointed out in my kasi of Tshwane. It’s rare to be honoured in your Kasi. This is my recognition for doing well in the music industry,” he said. The musician from Hammanskraal, Tshwane, said he
canceled all his gigs around the country on 16 December to be part of this concert.

“This is not all about money, it’s also about honour. I dedicated myself to be part of this moment,” he said.
Dr Malinga said his mission is to bring back festivals like Hammanskraal Comes Alive and Ekasi Festival Show.
“I am thankful for everyone who supported me during my SARS issue. People even lied that I bought a McLaren, but anyway I love the car,” he said. He added that he is also grateful to EFF leader, Julius Malema, who is paying his accountant.

Dr Malinga said he will do Afro-pop and Afro-jazz next year, because fans are asking for it. Mafikizolo’s Nhlanhla Nciza said the festival was nice. Tshwane is known for all white parties, it felt good especially because it’s a benefit concert and I will continue to come here,” she said. The founder of Tshwane All White Benefit and Soul Festival, Tiny Baloyi, said they were doing this for Dr Malinga. I am doing this from my heart and out of love,” she said. She said it’s part of celebrating 15 years of all-white and 10 years of Dr Malinga in the music industry. We want to give him flowers while he can still smell them,” said Baloyi. Rendani Mulaudzi, an All White festival fan, said she was happy to be part of the concert. This is my Christmas and seeing everyone wearing white made me happy,” said Rendani.
