A fact which could have to do with the matter of her legal battles in order to assert the ownership of her sparkling wine brand, House of BNG.

In 2022, Matheba would only occasionally grab headlines. Whether it was when she hosted Global Citizen as her first big gig of 2022, or becoming the ambassador of Nivea following the matter of her without makeup trending, or most recently, her collaboration with Steve Madden.

Matheba in 2022 did not do what she is most beloved for by her fanbase, and that is television presenting and hosting. Nor did she return to radio as since she left Metro FM in a huff a years back, calls for her to return to radio have been abundant.

But now it seems that her absence from the public eye might have to do with the fact that Matheba is in love and is looking to preserve her relationship and the privacy thereof as long as possible.
