Zandie Khumalo celebrates as Senzo Meyiwa trial continues to be delayed

Mzansi musical artist, Zandie Khumalo was meant to take the witness stand on Monday, 15 May 2023, but to date, we still have no clear indication as to when that will happen. As the public calls for justice, it seems that Zandie cannot help but gloat on social media.

As reported:

[Zandie] disabled the comments from her next post. This is as she would take jabs at all the backlash she was receiving on social media.

As such, her cheeky caption wrote in isiZulu but when translated to English reads:

“Since you have tried everything else, why do you not just poison me. Also, why are you all so angry (laughing emojis) because it is only going to get worse. I suggest you take screenshots.”

However, seeing as the matter was used against her during Wednesday, 17 May 2023’s hearing. It was believed by the public that the judge would deliver his verdict during this hearing on whether or not Zandie’s testimony will be broadcast through visuals and audio, or these mediums would be banned.

But for whatever reason, it seems that the judge saw it fit to delay the matter for yet another day given the report.

This stance has caused more contention from the public as it has been four days and counting since Zandie was set to take the stand. As such, the public took to social media to share their disgruntlement.

But it seems that Zandie, on the other hand, cannot be happier. This is as she took to Instagram to celebrate having delayed the trial yet again. This time, however, she was more strategic about her celebrations as she did not write a suggestive, or explicit, caption on her joy. Instead, she used visuals for this fact.
