VIDEO: DJ Sbu under fire for hustling mid-flight

Mzansi musician and businessman, Sbusiso “DJ Sbu” Leope has inspired many with his flair for business and refusal to give up. Over the last few months, he has appeared in various clips doing anything and everything to sell his MoFaya energy drink. While the videos were usually met with applause and enthusiasm by his fans, it would appear many are growing tired of watching him “hustle”.

The final straw appears to be a clip of him marketing his drink mid-flight.

Social media users appear to have grown tired of watching DJ Sbu try to market his MoFaya energy drink.

Not too long ago, many were singing his praises for relentlessly pushing his product and trying by any means to drive sales.

It would appear his tactics may be too much for some people who have now labelled the “hustler” annoying.

This comes after a clip of the Remember When It Rained hitmaker marketing his product mid-flight was shared on Twitter. In the clip, Sbu can be seen enthusiastically discussing the drink with his fellow passengers.

Take a look below:

After watching, many remarked that the kind of aggressive marketing he is employing is off-putting. According to a lot of tweeps, he is simply doing too much.

One app user referred to him as “desperate” while slamming his energy drink.

“DESPERATE, MoFaya is not fire, instead it got him fired at Metro Fm,” wrote the user.

“He’s a living example of how toxic hustle culture can be,” one person remarked while another added:

“Does he realise this marketing strategy actually annoys the customers? He talks too much and loudly”.
