Kaya FM host Dineo Ranaka allegedly discharged herself from a mental hospital

Kaya FM host Dineo Ranaka allegedly discharged herself from a mental hospital in Pretoria. The alleged reports come barely after it was reported that the celebrated radio host was admitted to a mental health facility after she made it known that she was unwell. Sunday World seemingly confirmed that Ranaka was discharged from the hospital barely three days after checking in.

Unconfirmed reports have it that she had a confrontation with a health worker at the institution. Speaking under anonymity to Sunday World, a source-based at the institution has it that there was a misunderstanding that led to a heated confrontation. The media personality confronted a health worker after she thought she was taking her videos.

It is alleged that in the backdrop of the incident, the media personality discharged herself from the facility despite being advised not to.

However, Dineo Ranaka has yet to address the daring rumours that have thrust her into trends.
A few days ago, Dineo Ranaka made headlines when she took to Instagram to open up on her mental health woes and how she has been battling depression and suicidal thoughts.

Taking to Instagram, she posted: “Because I’m trying my best to NOT commit suicide. My mind is sooo loud of late and life is f* hard so f* hard and I’m trying my best but it seems my best is not enough.”

Her Instagram posts set social media abuzz, and South Africans flooded her comments section with motivational messages. In the backdrop of her posts, Kaya 959 issued a statement asking for privacy and wishing her well.
