Taylor Swift accidentally swallows a bug while on stage

During her latest concert, Taylor Swift accidentally swallowed an unidentified insect in front of tens of thousands of fans.

The singer and songwriter were at Soldier Field Sunday for the Chicago stop of her Eras Tour when she began choking during the show.

A viral video from the stadium shows the superstar coughing and turning away from the audience, which fell practically silent after she placed her hand over her mouth.

“I swallowed a bug I’m so sorry…oh, delicious!” she said after the incident on night three of the tour stop in the Windy City.

Footage shows Swift then appearing to recover and laugh the incident off.

“Is there any chance none of you saw that? It’s fine… I swallowed it,” she quipped to her fans who laughed. “This is gonna happen again tonight. There are so many bugs.”

Swift’s next show is slated for Friday at Ford Field in Detroit. Her last U.S. stop is scheduled in Los Angeles on August 9.

The choking spell came on the heels of the superstar announcing she added a half-dozen more dates to the Eras Tour taking place in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil − where she’ll be joined by “sweet angel princess” Sabrina Carpenter.
