Kelly Khumalo proud of Julius Malema’s EFF

Popular South African politician who is a Member of Parliament and the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema has won the praise of many of his critics after his party recently celebrated its 10th anniversary at the FNB Stadium. But no one was expecting singer Kelly Khumalo to compliment the CIC, particularly after his comments about Senzo Meyiwa.

The party president has accused the hitmaker of being allegedly involved in the murder of the late soccer player.

Senzo was shot and killed on 26 October 2013 at the Vosloorus home of Kelly’s mother. Five men are currently on trial for his murder.

In a tweet that surprised many, Kelly Kumalo posted: “I’m so proud of EFF.”

It came as no surprise that the Twitter users reminded the singer how Malema himself had publicly blamed her for the death of Senzo Meyiwa.

But Kelly clapped back at the criticism with another surprising comment.

She posted: “I truly don’t care what your thoughts of me are. The fact remains that it takes courage and strength to build what Malema did. And that deserves applause, even from me”.

In a video clip that went viral, Julius Malema shared his thoughts about what he thinks he thought about Senzo Meyiwa’s death.

He said: “We hold a very strong view that Senzo was killed. And those people in the house knew who killed him.

“Personally, I’m more than convinced that Kelly knows something. There must be a way she must be held [accountable]”.
