Aubrey Qwana opens up about his struggle with depression. Taking to Facebook, the musician suggests that he might quit music after dropping the project he’s currently working on.

“I want to run away but I can’t. This life thing is really showing me flames and I can’t take it anymore I need a hug. After this album, I might just let this music thing go. I’m super depressed and I’m really not OK,” he wrote.

 

Aubrey’s statement garnered lots of attention as people flooded the post with comforting and soothing words.

Another artist who recently opened up about suffering from depression is Dineo Ranaka. Dineo was at the point of being suicidal but she got help after pouring out her thoughts on Instagram.

She later got diagnosed with Severe Chronic Depression and she’s currently on a recovery journey. Ranaka has since become a voice for those suffering from depression.
