Major League DJz suffer a big blow as the Road Accident Fund rejects R3 million claim

Well-known Amapiano duo made up of twin brothers Bandile and Benele Mbere, Major League DJz, are making headlines for the wrong reasons after the Road Accident Fund (RAF) repudiated co-founder Bandile Africa Mbere’s R3 million car accident claim.

RAF has it that the bubbly DJ did not sustain any severe injuries that can warrant compensation.

In 2020, the DJ cheated death after being involved in a horrific accident. However, the two were both lucky to escape without serious injuries.

Years later, little is known about what happened and who was at fault when the accident occurred. However, rumour mill has it that the two had an accident on their way to a booked gig in Middleburg in Mpumalanga.

In the backdrop of the accident, one managed to make it to the event they were set to perform at Mtoni Strictly All White Party at Hype and Pub Restaurant on 12 December 2020.

Their car was reportedly damaged beyond repair, and celebrated event organizer DJ Mabhodo confirmed the incident with a social media post.

DJ Mabhodo posted: “They were driving to my event and were coming from another one when the accident occurred. Only one made it to the party because the other was injured.”

After all, in the backdrop of the accident – the DJs tried to claim their Road Accident Fund of R3 million, which RAF is unwilling to pay because there were no serious injuries.

Years later, after the near-death experience, RAF is yet to accept his claim that he has often seen the DJ topping trends for the wrong reasons. RAF has it that the bubbly DJ did not sustain any severe injuries that can warrant compensation hence, his claim should be rejected.
